I grew up in Beirut. We left during the war, in '89, '90, '91, we left because the war became too impossible to live in Lebanon, so we came here actually, we were in Montreal. So I'm also a Canadian citizen. ...Canada really welcomed us and I spent three great years here in spite of everything that was happening in Lebanon and in spite of the war, I was able to come to school here, and have friends, have a normal life for a few years, and so, I'm also a Canadian citizen and I'm proud of it.
