I was in that moment of my career where I could go to his office and say, 'Pep, why is this happening?' What is going to be the game plan?'. Maybe when I was 20, I didn't have the confidence to go to the manager's office to ask those things. But at that moment, because of the trust (we had), I needed to do that.
You can't have the same ideas of 12 or 13 years ago, you become lazy, and you are not scared. You don't have the intuition or the desire to think 'oh, maybe we do it like that' even though maybe it will be a mistake. Always you have to make some evolution during the process. Evolution you do it to try to have success, yes – but especially, so you don't get bored all the time doing the same at the end. Life is about experiences and learning to improve different things.

I loathe all that passing for the sake of it, all that tiki-taka. It's so much rubbish and has no purpose. You have to pass the ball with a clear intention, with the aim of making it into the opposition's goal. It's not about passing for the sake of it.
