The first is Poolad Tsiradzho (also identified as Polad Sabir Sirajov), a 35-year-old economist and translator from Azerbaijan (the only Azerbaijani held in Guantánamo), who said that he went to Afghanistan to study the Koran, and was wounded by the Northern Alliance while working as a guard at a Pakistani food warehouse in northern Afghanistan.
