Rojas (Roxas) was born in Curiel in the diocese of Palencia (Spain). He held the degree of doctor of theology from the University of Salamanca. He was presented to the diocese of Viglevano by the King of Spain on 7 April 1683, and was approved (preconised) by Pope Innocent XI on 20 December 1683. He died on 30 December 1685.
