Analysis of information sources in references of the Wikipedia article "Show trial" in English language version.
The trials involve eight political and military leaders of Nagorno-Karabakh which was ethnically cleansed by Azerbaijan's ten-month-long blockade followed by military aggression in September of 2023, when 120,000 Armenians were forced to flee to Armenia.

Prosecuting prisoners of war for participation in the conflict, depriving them of their fair trial rights, and subjecting them to torture or inhuman treatment are all breaches of the Geneva Conventions and war crimes.
