The Board of Directors has announced the appointment of Rabbi Eric Grossman as the new head of school at the academy in West Bloomfield. Grossman is the founding head of the Bible department at the Frankel Jewish Academy of Metropolitan Detroit, a position he has held since 2001. He also serves as rabbi (non-resident) of Shaar Hashomayim Congregation in Windsor. Before moving to Detroit, he served on the administration of the Gann Academy/New Jewish High School of Greater Boston, where he also taught Bible, philosophy, and Jewish law.
