The UK offices had from 1983 until 1988 been temporarily housed in Bradford, as UK citizens were instructed at the time to direct their book/subscription orders to, "Time-Life Books c/o Time-Life International Ltd., FREEPOST, P.O. Box 180, Bradford BD7 2TT", as specified on contemporary mail order forms. This was done because their 153 New Bond Street, London W1Y0AA office building was being refurbished in this period. The UK offices moved back into their old premises in 1989, where they remained until their closure in late-August 2009. The office building still carries its original "Time & Life Building". name, so christened when it was built in 1951–53 as the then-European headquarters of "Time & Life International, Ltd." before Amsterdam took over as such in 1976.

WuV.de (in German).; According to the individual volume colophons in the 2008-09 Spanish-language version of The Third Reich series, European legal matters such as licensing were afterwards handled by "Direct Holdings Holland B.V.", the Dutch branch of the worldwide holding company that had acquired Time-Life in December 2003, located at the time on Herikerbergweg 7, 1101CN Amsterdam. The company also became mentioned as the official publisher in European Time-Life series volume reprints, such as those of the Dutch Mens en mythe version of the Myths and Mankind series, which was still running in the Netherlands at the time and which had started out as a Time-Life Books B.V. series.
