[2]:Beckmen Music became Roland's distributor for the western United States in 1976, and in 1978 a 50% partner in founding Roland USA. The Beckmens sold their share back to Roland in 1993 and bought a vineyard in the Santa Ynez Valley.

Well it seems Washburn are making a big move back into the Metal guitar community as Ola Englund … has just signed with Washburn to create a new Solar Series guitar, which will be part of the new Parallaxe series.
