He beat her to death in 1980 after she tried to help her son, who was in trouble with his former associates. Then, for good measure, he killed André and his girlfriend and dumped their bodies in the St. Lawrence River, the dump-site of choice for Montreal bikers.
The Mafia even turned to him when there was a job to be done. In July 1983, at their behest, he shot dead Michel Desormiers, brother-in-law of mob boss, Frank Cotroni.
