With her "melon" hairdo and headband this young girl fits Pollux' mask 41 from New Comedy, "the hetaira with diamitros", to which a few close parallels, with similar hairdos, have been assigned. The parallel masks, found in graves on Lipari, are dated "no later than the first quarter of the third century B.C." (Report of the Department of Antiquities, Cyprus - Página 200).
