As in previous elections, the حزب جامعهگرا (فرانسه) passed a national agreement with Les Verts (4 MPs) and the Parti radical de gauche (7 MPs), two smaller parties who also hold ministries. On the one hand, in key constituencies, Socialists support a Radical or Green candidate and send none of their own. On the other, in tough constituencies they send a unique candidate to secure a run-off entry. There is a similar, but separate, agreement with another small party, the Citizen and Republican Movement (MRC). According to Libération's 7 March 2012 edition, this agreement attributes 9 electoral districts to the MRC, including 4 or 6 "winnable seats", plus 6 substitute candidates.
