The Lebanese Health Ministry says in a statement that at least 1,838 people have been killed in Lebanon since mid-September, when Israel escalated its attacks on the country. At least 2,448 have been killed since the beginning of Israel’s exchanges of fire with Hezbollah last October. This includes 140 children and 270 women, and 11,471 wounded, the ministry added.
