He went to the United States in 1992, preceded by one of his secretaries, Father Luciano Alimandi. The secretary’s brief was to identify a visionary, one who was ideally in contact with the Virgin Mary at The Franciscan University in Stubenville, Ohio. Alimandi selected Theresa Lopez. It is said that the casting couch featured heavily in his choice. Lopez admits to four marriages, but her former husband Jeff believes it could be five and he has also revealed that she has six children. »
