Frank Bailey, Cross and Cockade SPA124, http://www.crossandcockade.com/, « SPA 124 was still carried on the strength of GC 13, but there were so many problems encountered in obtaining the necessary personnel and equipment that operations were almost impossible, so on 25 February the unit was transferred to the newly forming Groupe de Combat 21, under the command of Capt Lucien Couret de Villeneuve, who had seen service with Escadrille N.31. The second in command of GC 21 was Lt Miron de l’Espinay, replaced a short time later by Lt Fressanges-Dubost, who was in turn relieved by Lt Roux. Spa 124 remained with GC 21 for the duration of the war and operated principally with the IV Armée. »
