Strangely, this lake is lonely, no life in it, except for one Gompa, or monastery, no one likes to live there, inspite of its amazing beautiful turquoise colour, which always remains the same. This lake is shaped like a crescent moon. Quite near to Rakshas Tal there is the other lake, the Lake Mansarovar, called The Mind of Brahma, The Divine Lake, which has the shape of a sun. This lake is full of life, fishes, ducks ... and changes its colours all the time, from deep blue to heavenly blue, silver pink ...
