While the Majerteen hail from the Darood/Harti clan, the Sa’ad are a sublet of the Hawiye/Habar Gidir clan family.… North and South Mudug are largely inhabited by the Darood and Hawiye respectively, which are predominantly represented here by the Majeerteen and Habar-Gidir sub-clans.»
