Pressure Altitude - A Guide for Climbers
デナリの気圧は、麓（海抜標高付近）では他の地域と同じくらいであるが、標高が高くなるほど低緯度地域（ヒマラヤやアンデス）よりも気圧が低くなる。なお、緯度による気圧変化の要因には「遠心力による重力加速度変化」と「温度変化」があるが、遠心力の効果は温度変化に比べて無視できる。
