The new jerseys featured striped panels on both sides, updated numerals, a shift from orange to a bold yellow, and a wishbone collar to bring the HEAT into the new millennium. Along with our new uniforms came tweaked wordmarks and logos, complete with the same updated red and gold to replace the previous red and orange. The uniforms arrived just in time for Y2K — but without the fear of losing everything in a computer crisis.”
