It is one of the three new connections from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA Terminal 1) that the airline will be launching within the next few months.
The other two are the Kuala Lumpur-Miri route, commencing on Dec 1, and the Kuala Lumpur-Sandakan route, starting from Jan 14, 2025. Both will run 14 times weekly.

Ltd. and Batik Air, marking a significant step towards expanding charter flights on China routes. The agreement includes four routes: Nanning to Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai to Tawau, Chengdu to Tawau, and Shenzhen to Tawau.
The new route will connect passengers from Indonesia’s Batam to the airline’s network of 53 destinations across 22 countries through Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia.
The airline is currently operating 11 flights per week on the Ho Chi Minh City - Kuala Lumpur route. The restoration of the route from Hanoi to Kuala Lumpur will complete the aviation links between Vietnam and Malaysia.
