"The slim volume ... argued that the Israeli Army had carried out only a 'partial expulsion’ of the population of the Arab towns of Lydda and Ramlah and dismissed the charge that the troops had massacred Lydda townspeople [...] In fact, according to IDF records from 1948, in the IDF archive, what was ordered and carried out was a full-scale expulsion; and Yiftah Brigade troops killed some 250 townspeople."
