Stiebing (1994) har «Land of the Lords of Brightness», altså «Landet til skinnende herrene», se William Stiebing: Ancient Near Eastern History and Culture. Postgate (1994) tar en og bytter med emn, «språk», og oversetter det til «Land of the Sumerian tongue», «Landet til sumersk språk», jf. John Nicholas Postgate (1994): Early Mesopotamia: Society and Economy at the Dawn of History. Routledge.
