Blue Boar Lane é melhor conhecida como o lugar de Blue Boar [Javali Azul], a hospedária dos coches onde o Ricardo III passou a sua última noite em 21 de Agosto de 1485 antes de falecer na Batalha do Campo Bosworth. Um javali azul era o emblema de John de Vere, 13º Conde de Oxford, quem estava alinhado com Henrique VII de Inglaterra contra Ricardo; e entendido que nessa altura da passagem de Ricardo pela hospedagem era conhecida como Blue Bell [Campainha Azul].[2].
