The National Association for Gifted Children and Intertel Foundation, Inc., have announced the annual Hollingworth Award Competition for 1997. Sponsored by the two non-profit organizations, the competition was established to encourage educational and psychological research studies of potential benefit to the gifted and talented. The winner will receive a certificate and a cash grant of $2,000. The competition is international and open to both individuals and organizations.
Taibi Kahler, PhD, was the single inductee into the 2006 Hall of Fame selected by the Intertel executive board, representing the 1,700 members in 30 countries, based on “outstanding and amazing intellectual achievements.” Membership in Intertel requires a score at or above the 99th percentile on a standardized IQ test.
