Another highlight of the season is Dennis DeYoung who will be performing the music of Styx. As a founding member of the band, he wrote and sang lead on seven of the band’s eight Top 10 hits. It’s an evening of great music that spans the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s including “Come Sail Away,” “Lady”,’ “Babe,” “Mr. Roboto” and more.
The Chicago-bred Styx is known for its hits “Grand Illusion,” “Mr. Roboto,” “Too Much Time on My Hands," “Come Sail Away,” “Renegade,” “Blue Collar Man” and, among others, "Fooling Yourself.”
The Styx lineup has also undergone some changes, but the spirit of the group has remained intact. Fans can expect to hear all of their favorites such as "Lady," "Show Me The Way," "Mr. Roboto," "Come Sail Away" and Babe."
Styx's 1983 concept album, "Kilroy Was Here" was a rock opera of sorts about an unjustly imprisoned rocker and spawned the hits "Mr. Roboto" and "Don't Let It End."
