Analysis of information sources in references of the Wikipedia article "Греко-армянская гипотеза" in Russian language version.
Armenian shows the strongest similarities to the group of Balkan languages, Phrygian, Albanian and in particular Greek. Some interesting features of this group are shared with Indo-Iranian. <…> However, while the lexical correspondences are certainly the most prominent, generally dismissing phonological and especially morphological correspondences seems unwarranted. In fact, a number of early phonological innovations in Armenian appear to be shared with Greek.
