Neuman’s famous Mad magazine motto, «What, me worry?» and Bobby McFerrin’s 1988 hit «Don’t Worry, Be Happy.» First published in 1944, it has sold well over six million copies and was even parodied in director Stanley Kubrick’s 1964 Cold War film Dr. Strangelove or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb.
