Taipei City, Taiwan. 6. 4. 1975. „TAIPEI, Taiwan, Sunday, April 6—Chiang Kai‐shek, the President of Nationalist China and the last survivor of the Big Four Allied leaders of World War II, died of a heart attack here last night. He was 87 years old. An announcement by the Government said Generalissimo Chiang suffered a heart attack at 10:20 P.M. and was taken to the Taipei Central Hospital, where he died at 11:50 P.M. (10:50 A.M., New York time). His wife and his eldest son, Premier Chiang Ching‐kuo, were at his bedside.
