Each platform has equipment for metering, pumping, storage and maintaining formation pressure, mainly via water/gas injection. Brent C also hosts production from Shell's subsea Penguins development, and is the main pump station platform for the Brent/Cormorant pipeline, commingling oil from numerous third-party fields in the area. Brent B is the main gas compression platform for the Brent gas export pipeline to St Fergus, northeast Scotland."
