Both pronunciations have been used by Albanese himself during his life, and are both in common use among other speakers. While Albanese always used the /ˈælbəniːz/ pronunciation throughout his early life,[1] more recently he is heard using the /ˌælbəˈniːzi/ pronunciation.[2]
