  • 玄奘記錄佛滅之日為吠舍佉（英语：Vaisakha）月（印度曆二月）後半十五日，即二月三十日（白半十五日），根據的應是北印度黑半前白半後的曆法系統Pūrṇimānta。若據南印度白半前黑半後的曆法系統Amānta[8]，則會是吠舍佉（英语：Vaisakha）月（印度曆二月）前半十五日，即二月十五日（白半十五日）。兩者雖然在曆法上日期不同，但會是同一天，即吠舍佉月的滿月日[9]。
