  • 原文出於《宋史》卷348:「得猱數十頭,束麻作炬,灌以膏蠟,縛於猱背。暮夜,複遣土丁負繩梯登崖顛,乃縋梯引下,人人銜枚,挈猱蟻附而上。比 雞鳴,友直、祐恭與其眾悉登,擁刀斧穿箐入。及賊柵,出火然炬,猱熱狂跳,賊廬舍皆茅竹,猱竄其上,火輒發,賊號呼奔撲,猱益驚,火益熾。官軍鼓噪破柵, 遹望見火,麾軍躡雲梯攻其前。兩軍相應,賊擾亂,不複能抗,赴火墮崖死者不可計,俘斬數千人。」其中的「猱」原指一種金色尾巴的猴子。
