Until very recently, access to the Śaṃvara was possible only through its Tibetan translation……However, it is now known that, although long overlooked (having been purchased in Nepal in 1898; Lévi, 1899, 85), one manuscript (Ms. SL 48) kept at the Collège de France, Bibliothèque de l'Institut d'études indiennes, is an almost complete codex unicus of the Śaṃvara.
