Athanassakis & Wolkow, p. 153. The name means "he who is in the liknon" (colui che è nelλίκνον), and was identified by the 5th- or 6th-century AD Hesychius as an epithet of Dionysus; according to Ricciardelli, the name should thus be taken as referring to the infant Dionysus.[333]
