...it's trying to be a relevant and consistent record blending old and new sounds of their varying era for Deftones at this point into their lengthy career. To say it accomplishes those goals is an understatement, meeting all of my shoegaze, groovy, alt-metal and sensual expectations of their music.

I listen to this now and it's stood the test of time, and Deftones were definitely influenced by it.
