Sabah is receiving 64 weekly direct international flights with the latest addition from Hong Kong, following AirAsia's reinstatement of the HKG-BKI route.
Sabah began 2023 with AirAsia resuming its direct flights from Hong Kong to the state.
Noredah Othman, CEO of Sabah Tourism Board said, “I am glad that finally, AirAsia has reactivated its Hong Kong-Kota Kinabalu route, adding another international connection to Sabah.”
